Sustainable Agritourism Location Investigation in Vietnam by a Spherical Fuzzy Extension of Integrated Decision-Making Approach

For tourists in the post-COVID era, it is a popular choice to experience nature and idyllic rural life fields, gardens, farms instead of crowding into high-level services modern tourist destinations. This trend has created focus on sustainable development within tourism. Agritourism an alternative tourism that demonstrates high potential for industry while positively impacting agricultural production areas. A suitable location selection process essential effectively developing agritourism sustainability. However, current literature this issue still limited. Therefore, study introduces combined decision-making model optimal destination identification context development. research highlights use spherical fuzzy set (SFSs), which Decision-Making Trial Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) determines criteria’s importance combination with their causal relationship, based Distance from Average Solution (EDAS) finds destinations’ priority. The model’s efficiency illustrated through empirical Vietnam by sensitivity analysis. resulting found decision-makers should consider factors local living conditions (ASC10), agriculture products (ASC3) when investigating locations. Consequently, was be Lam Dong (AD9), can efficiently promote activities increasing value countryside. These findings assist selecting sites other regions projects.
